Afraid of heights?

Well don't bother applying for work here! You probably can't even tell how far up in the sky I am. Its a low pier tower, only 180 stories high! The first time I went up one of these my fore head was all prickled with sweat and I tried to unobtrusively keep a hand on the railing the entire time!

As chairman of the national Vertigo club, I have to say: hats off!

Are you one of those people who freeze up in fear, or do you have an uncontrollable urge to jump?

I hope you wear some sort of safety gear up there.

I'm the kind of person who will freeze up, stand in the middle of the platform and cuss and curse at his mates for making fun of him.

Depends on the height as well. Tree, house, ladder: no fear. Towers, multi-story buildings, cable-carts, rollercoasters: shitting myself, but not willing to admit.
Airplanes: no fear again.
Bizarre.

So just partial freezing then. If you can still move your mouth to curse at people you are doing pretty good.

Going up I could do (for a storey or two atleast), it's going down that makes we wanna crawl in a little dark place and die the death of a squirl.

Maybe not a squirrel, don't they climb trees?

Omigosh! You are so brave!! I want to vomit if I stand on the 3rd floor of a parking garage and look down. I went into the Stratosphere in Las Vegas and broke into a sweat. I don't know how you do it! I applaude you!

wow...is there a safety net below? i hope so...or a giant pile of pillows

No safety net, just the reassurance of instant death upon impact. There is hand railing everywhere. The rule when working up high is you never step backwards, I mean NEVER. You always turn the direction of travel, then proceed. Makes sense right!?
